What types of funding can organizations access?

Operational Funding

Funding which supports your organization's rent, lease payments, purchase of technology, office supplies, day to day expenses, staffing and professional costs

Seed/Pilot
Funding

Funding for one-time activities, or to explore a new idea. Test and pilot activity, including phases needed to develop and research an idea or concept

Program/Project Funding

Initiatives that have a defined start and end date, measurable and tangible results, and which can be evaluated, such as food banks, youth programs, community initiatives.

Capacity Building Funding

Funding to improve the ability of organizations to deliver social services. Funding can also be used to address social issues and may be used to help groups navigate change.

Capital and/or Equipment Funding

Funding for organizations to purchase new equipment or repair existing equipment. As well, funding for building repairs, installations or renovations.

In-Kind Donations

These are donations of value, not cash and can include items like: office equipment and supplies, fresh or nonperishable foods. They can also include services such as repairs, renvations, graphic design, printing or website support.
